We cannot certify your structure, but we can carry out a structural pre-check, producing a full set of calculations and guidance that will make it easy for your structural engineer to sign-off your project, even if they are not familiar with WikiHouse.

When to use this service

Use this service alongside our chassis design service, and when you project also needs to be certified by a structural engineer. The goal is to make it as simple as possible for your structural engineer.

How it works

Our in-house engineering team will assess your chassis design, suggest any changes, and carry out a full set of structural calculations that your engineer can check and use to certify the project.

This may include load specifications for your foundations but it will not include checking the design of the foundations themselves.

What's not included

This service does not include:

  • Checking that your layout is compliant with all other building and planning regulations
  • Final structural sign-off (this must be done by a qualified structural engineer)
  • Foundations design
  • Full detailed design and specification for other elements including cladding, windows and fit out.

You will need

  • A certified structural engineer
  • To also be using our chassis design service or have a design comprising only of standard WikiHouse Skylark blocks
